Nice to see you, to see you, Nice!

The yellow flowers of Forsythia brighten up many gardens and make a nice candidate for a blip ... now time for the educational bit ... the genus is named after Scottish horticulturist William Forsyth, who was a founding member of the Royal Horticultural Society and who was born just down the road from here in Oldmeldrum, Aberdeenshire. Now for the ridiculous bit ... which I only found out today - the self same William Forsyth is the great-great-great-great grandfather of iconic British TV personality Bruce Forsyth.
