Friday 16 April 2010: Grounded at Glencaple

This rusting fishing boat has been tied up at the pier at Glencaple on the Nith for a long time. The community , I am told by the local Councillor Alastair Witts , would like it moved as it is a bit of an eyesore - and this part of the downstram Nith has a particular charm as the strong river ebbs and flows ( particularly on a sunny spring evening).
