Garrulus glandarius

We do a good range of crows in our garden, I've already blipped the nest building Jackdaw, and there's a couple of Magpies that are regulars at the bird table, but the most colourful and secretive is definitely the Jay. So I was pleased to find this one posing nicely and given that this was taken on full 12x zoom hand held through a window, its turned out pretty well I'd say.

Today I've been screwing down the floorboards and Mrs L's been finishing off the painting of the bedroom while giving me grief for failing to take the radiators off the wall and buying her a long-handled roller to get behind them instead.
