Sunday 18 April 2010: Home made
We popped up town on the bus (£2.40 each way) this afternoon, to buy £15 of specialist food colouring so Layla and Bella could make some cheap home-made Play Doh. Unable to control myself in Lakeland Plastics, I spent and extra £10 on a potato peeler and some things to re-close packets of things.
Oh, and on the way there, we popped into a Science Festival weird sound box thing, at £2 per head.
The total expedition cost us £45.80, which would have bought 90 tubs of Play Doh in Argos, and we'd have still had enough left for a Mars Bar.
At least the excellent wildlife photography exhibition in St. Andrews Square is free.
