REAL STUFF

Went to a place called Metro today. It's a big wholesaler but they allow foreigners to shop there. It has a very extensive range of foreign goods and so 1 hour and almost 800 yuan later lots of goodies were to be had. The alcohol section is particularly good but the "Tim Tams" and the buttered popcorn (Like at the movies back home because Chinese people prefer sweet popped corn) are AWESOME finds. A bottle of Baileys, A nice Cab Sauv, a bottle of Tequila (and some lemons) and some lemon liqueur called Lemonel. To round it off, there are some small sachets of butter for the morning porridge, a can of peas, a can of beans and a wonderful bottle of TABASCO. Mmmmm yummy. This was the cache of foreign goods we picked up.

OK.. not for a few Tequila shots.. hehehehe I thought I had better blip before I started that.
