Ready for the long weekend, two funny films and two miserable ones.
Just a quick plug in for the Australian movie: Beautiful Kate, it's supposed to be good, I'll report later, once we've watched it. It was filmed here in Adelaide and Flinders Ranges, so it will be interesting to spot familiar places. I saw a few while re-watching Shine. It was very surprising. I never thought of Adelaide as a movie making place, but it was.
Aussie films are not often a light entertainment. Hrubieszowianka's best film award for the last year goes to Blessed, also Australian, definitely not a feel good movie and not filmed in South Australia, but the one to see.
I'm still waiting for The Boys Are Back on dvd. It will combine local sights and Clive Owen!
