Going home

Today we took the long way home .... about 1000km+ ... travelling all the way from Potchefstroom, down to George .. commencing our journey just after 5.30am and reaching home 4.30pm, eleven hours later ...

Tired, although we had several stops for petrol, and the occasional drink of water, coffee ...

All of these images were taken as we travelled at about 130km/h; they are favourites, all of them, and there are several more .... I cannot help but to marvel at the beautiful landscapes our country has to offer. In these areas much rain fell over the past few months, and although it is more or less our winter season now - so much green is still to be seen.

For the past ten days we spent a wonderful time up north; visiting the children, attending a wedding and a graduation and spending precious time with much loved family.
