Wednesday 28 April 2010: Salt Water
There is hardly anything more sparkling and fresh as tropical sea water.
But beware if it sprays over your ship and you accidently switch on the window wipers. It will change from sparkling and fresh in a white mess where you can hardly see through.
The wind picked up considerably this morning and salt spray is coming over the bow and bridge constantly. Te be able to keep a proper lookout without getting wet, we have a fresh water connection above each window.
We are getting closer to St.Helena, hopefully we can make it tomorrow before it is dark.
