Sunday 26 August 2007: Loch Earn from Ben Vorlich
Up reasonably early this morning after yesterday's wedding to head up to Ben Vorlich. It's in north Perthshire, just west of Comrie and Crieff, and this is the view north across Loch Earn towards the highlands proper.
It's a Munro I've done a few times before (summer and winter) but we just wanted to get out and up a hill, and it suited the criteria of being not too far away and having stress-free navigation.
It was windy, but the top was cloud-free and it stayed dry - which is always a good thing on a Munro trip.
