Your jaunty grin
beckons us weekly
you're the lucky day
the one we all look forward to
we step a little lighter
perk up in anticipation
piles of washing
cat fur on the carpet
and paper strewn table
will all command attention tomorrow
but today you are the finish line
out prize
takeaways for dinner
.....and a spot of rubbish telly.
