Sunday 2 May 2010: Home again home again.
Poor mister spent his birthday driving home (yes our birthdays are a day apart!). Claudia was actually an angel and slept almost the whole way, the last half hour was spent gazing out of the window.
Sadly we got home to a very unwell Ginger. He was under the weather before we left but he is dying today. It won't be long. It's so cruel, we have to just sit around and wait as they don't put animals to sleep here. I hope it won't be long. I have blipped Ginge a few times: the day he was recovering from a general anaesthetic, standing guard over Clauds in her bouncer, contorted and smooshed in a box, keeping me company while I was waiting for news of my Granddad's death, lost in thought on the hall carpet and watching over Claudia while she has a nice moment with Daddy. I will miss him so much, he is a real softie and has been just wonderful with Claudia, he genuinely seems to love her.
So long Ginger Poof, the world is a sadder place without you :o(
