Believe it or not, this is a protest.

Musicians of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia orchestra are protesting against a new Italian law which will cut funds for arts.

But they're doing it their way: they cancelled performances for three days and will keep on playing for free off-stage instead.
