i cycle past this a few times a week and sometimes come down here to skate. it's surrounded by other more obvious landmarks but i do like the victorian self confidence of this park gate post. although the gate bit seems to have gone.

i felt rather annoyed by one of my children this morning as we struggle to embrace the morning routine. luckily the other child was being equally challenging after school so it all balanced out nicely.

but we've done the first homework of term, we're about to embark on bedtime and the beer is cooling in the fridge so all is not too bad.
