Life with The Pinks

Pebbles and Shells

A very cold and showery bank holiday Monday. Mr Pink decided we'd blow the cobwebs away, and we did - there were no cobwebs left anywhere after the cold wind at the seaside.

We went to the local shipping town of Harwich and it's neighbouring town of Dovercourt, which has very sadly suffered greatly in the recession.

Whilst walking along the sea-front, pretending to be a seagull with Master Pink and thinking warm thoughts, I spotted some lovely shells on the little tiny bit of beach that had no waves crashing on it. Baby Pink was parked up briefly and I ran with glee (not bad after Saturday's walk) to scavenge some shells. I love shells and have a little collection of "beach" scattered around the house and garden! Todays treasure was mainly oyster shells.
