Friday 7 May 2010: Busted Birdie
I was on my way off campus this evening after work and I heard this little bird singing so sweetly. I would have walked right past him if it weren't for his song. The bust is of longshoreman Henry Hansen. It's located outside of the campus bookstore.
I had to Photoshop out the bird poop that trailed down the side of the bust. I'm sure it wasn't from this little guy, but from crows or other larger birds. I created a layer and then used the clone tool to get rid of it. I didn't notice it at all when I took the photo because I was watching the bird so intently. I was surprised he didn't fly away while I was fumbling through my bag getting my camera and then adding the zoom.
