Food for the preschool

This is Jen, the lady who makes the porridge storing a new delivery.
The 250 little ones get a porridge made from maize, soya, ground nuts sugar, and salt, each day. Many more hungry children and adults arrive as well.
The process involves a lot of work. The maize has to go to the mill, remove the husks and be ground. The soya and ground nuts have to be shelled and ground as well. Jen begins cooking at about 6am.
We use a specially designed rocket stove which reduces the amount of wood needed.
