Searching for myself into the crystal ball

I know well that not every shot is meant to be good.....today, for example, I got intrigued with this ornamental vintage glass sphere found in a backyard....I walked around it, I took pictures from the top, bottom and from each side, trying to frame a cool portrait. When I downloaded the files, I realized they were not that cool.....at least I should have dusted the crystal ball...the colors were not what I was looking for....so I posted a contrasted B&W version....uhf! Lot to learn!
