Little Big Flower and the eBay Addiction

Next 'round' in my previously confessed eBay addition was todays delivery of some extension tubes to go with previously purchased lens.

I finally gave up trying to win auctions on dedicated macro lenses (as they were far too expensive) and instead opted for the extension tube option to get macro shots.

Obviously it's going to take a lot of practice as focussing with such a narrow depth of field is tricky to say the least. Also quite surprised to see that pretty little flowers like this can start to look a bit ugly close up....could also do with a good dust!
