Great day!

Wow - I'm exhausted now, and somewhat under the influence of beer and tequila...

Today was EIE (Engage, Invest, Exploit - Edinburgh University's investment conference) and TechCrunch Edinburgh (TechCrunch is THE tech startup news website). Both were excellent events with really interesting companies exhibiting and pitching for investment. The cream of Scotland's investment community was present, along with major figures from elsewhere in the UK and Europe. It was a great opportunity to catch up with people I'd not seen in a while, and make some new acquaintances. One of my clients was exhibiting, and I think they had a pretty useful day too.

As befits a tech event in the modern age, there was lots of twitter activity (#eie10 and #tcedin) and a few beers (and the odd tequila) afterwards.

Unfortunately both lunch and dinner were composed of a few canapes, so I am now (1am) having a quick snack before hitting the sack.
