Sunday 2 September 2007: De Hamptøns
I'll tell you what, these Danes aren't the cheeriest bunch.
We walked down to the local village today and grinned at all the passers by. Not one of them so much as looked us in the eye.
G reckons this is the Danish equivalent of The Hamptons, which might explain such snootiness, but I reckon it's just because they eat too much herring. Either that, or they're all actually German.
Anyway, it's a lovely wee place (not dissimilar to Aberdeenshire) and the house is very cosy. Excuse me while I pop off for a quick dip in the pool...
