From Arkansas To Glasgow

Last year Etherghost posted a shot of s sign outside a venue for the band Dinosaur Jr. At the time we talked about the transient nature of touring bands, they float into your town and we appreciate and they wander off to the next.

Dinosaur Jr. like many bands float from city to city but all the people that see them have a slightly different but ultimately shared experience. Tonight they will play somewhere else and that thread that went from Arkansas to Glasgow will continue.

Band were very good considering they were suffering from stomach flu including the drummer. I've not seen a drummer attack a kit like that for a while. The support band Built to Spill were very good, must have a following in the States as some American kids I overheard were quite excited about seeing them. My ears are ringing, another shared experience. It was my first time in the ABC in Sauchiehall Street, good place for a gig.
