Unit EC 3: Combustion inspection in progress.
The outer casing of the low pressure turbine is hoisted away to get access to the low pressure turbine itself.
Here is a view from the other side. At the left is the generator.

Here you can see the weight of the thing: 36,1 tons.

By the way: unit EC 7 is running at 3000 rpm (FSNL: that is Full Speed No Load) and the vibrations are acceptable.... maybe in 2 more hours we know more and try to connect to the grid.
Running at FSNL is done to let the shaft stretch (sounds strange for such a massive thing but it's true....)
