Gloomy Sunday

But it rained and that's good but I don't think we've had much.

I've had a lovely afternoon wwith a couple of friends around for an impromptu lunch. Good kai (kai is the Maori word for food), wine, music, company and coffee laced with Bayleys.

We put the world right and exercised all the bit and pieces that make laughter :-)

And I rounded out the day with a wee run and a stretch. (Note to self; I don't stretch enough).

Actually, it was a Tom Waits kind of day.

But now like all good things it must come to an end, and I must go and clean my shoes and pack my lunch for work tomorrow. Then there might be time left to read the Sunday paper.
