Sunday 16 May 2010: Busy, busy, busy...

A quickly taken snap today, of a very busy worker Buff Tailed bumblebee; Bombus terrestris. Done whilst visiting the personal garden of the 'Head Gardener' at West Dean Gardens, for an NGS 'Open Gardens Day'. And an absolutely inspirational garden it is too.

Unfortunately, I was unable to capture her bulging, pale yellow, pollen sacks on her rear legs.
