Pensioner catches 34 pound trout

Down to Coldingham Loch for a fine day of fishing. Only £104 for the four of us in two boats. And I caught the first fish. Oh I was unbearably smug, but hid it well. Then Frankie boy caught one. So that was 2-0 to us in our boat. Lawrie, the only real angler in the party looked desperate as we joyfully had our lunch. Well, he caught one eventually, and of course it was the biggest, bah! Back to Greenlaw via the Craw Inn at Auchencrow.
Frank's curry was excellent and Phil regaled us with tales of his trip on the hippy trail to Kabul and Mumbai in 1970. And then he started making 'rusty nails'. I avoided them, unlike poor Frankie. Another rusty nail in his coffin judging by his appearance on Sunday morning.

And thanks to all for comments on the 100th blip on Friday.
