Help Save Bees

Stay still & stop buzzing about!

Out walking hound junior this morning, I stumbled upon this bush, which is normally seen in suburban front gardens, clipped to within a centimetre of it's life, growing shaggily wild in neaby wooodlands.

Its was absolutely humming with about 12 or 15 of these distinctive, ginger haired, fuzzy Bombus pascuorums (Common Carder Bees), all busily foraging on the tiny flower bracts.

But would they stay still long enough to have their photos taken? No!
