Dinner time
Pasta Bolognese is easily the most entertaining meal. There's the uncoordinated attempts to twirl the pasta on the spoon. There's the dangling tails of tagliatelle that can be theatrically sooked up, flicking the lip-squeegeed sauce across the table as it disappears with a smack of the lips. And that's just me. You should see the mess the kids make.
Ellen was making a particularly good job of getting the pasta into her mouth but only by abandoning the cutlery and resorting to more primitive methods. Ewan, on the other hand, seemed to be having trouble getting any sauce in at all and even after cleaning is left with an odd orangey tomato-stain beard.
