the optimistic outside table

Although the view available from an outside dining-table on Victoria Terrace might be quite nice it might get a little bit cold later on. Maybe the droplets of icy water on the tables are merely there to dissuade uncouth diners from resting their elbowses on the table.
Off for a meal myself this evening which might provide better blippage but might also result in the material not being in the presence of an uploading facility until significantly later.
Could also have posted yesterday's ice again in the reduced state in which I saw it this morning but did not. I forgot to take a picture of the free soup from the little Baxter's van in Festival Square. Got some nice glinting chimbleys in Charlotte Square but they weren't very inspiring in the cold light of desk.
