Thursday 6 September 2007: Happy sort-of birthday
Bella's nine months old today, which somehow seems significant because it's exactly the same amount of time she was growing in her mum's tum.
This week, for the first time since she was born, Layla and I have been without her for a couple of brief moments while her Gran and Gramps looked after her. We spent those moments feeling oddly incomplete and wondering what the hell we got up to for the 13 years we were together before she came along.
She'll be off to college in about 17 years - better start making some plans, eh?
