Famous?

How many people around the world might recognise the guy in this picture? Judging by the number of cameras pointed in his direction in the brief time we were up there his image must now be on thousands computers all over the world.
Just one moment in a very busy day in which we criss-crossed the city more than once. We managed to miss the great flea market on the northern edge of the city, fooled by the outer edge of it into thinking it wasn't up to much and therefore turning back when we should have gone beyond the underpass. We returned to Montmartre, where we had some food and then watched the juggler and some other street entertainers before heading down the hill towards Pigalle. Where we split up, some people went back to the hotel while M, S and I headed for the Arc de Triomphe where we stumbled across some sort of ceremony - Polish veterans and presumably the Polish ambassador. The three of us planned to go up the Eiffel Tower but were put off by the evening queues and instead found a place to eat on Blvd St Germain where the second bottle of wine accompanied a great evening of conversation until closing time at Le Twickenham.
