Flooding

It has rained now for 40 hours constantly & there is flooding all over the province of South Canterbury & North Otago; it is still raining consistantly & is forcast for another 24hours.

Crazy crazy....up to a week ago we were in drough conditions - sometimes you just can't win. But we have to take what we are given.

I took this photo at work this morning of our local newspaper reporting what to expect.

I am warm & snug, pleased to be home as I have to cross one of our rivers & wasn't sure how it would be.
