Tuesday 25 May 2010: Beamer Rock
Don't know if this rock in the Forth had a proper name before the lighthouse was built on it in 1892. What I do know is that one of the legs of the proposed new Forth Bridge will be plonked down on top of it.
Another good day for sailing; spoke at length to the surveyor last night about the wee boat I'm interested in. He reckons it needs lots of wee bits of attention but is basically sound. Hmmm... sounds like it needs something knocked off its price.
