Thursday 27 May 2010: Inadvertant ritual
Because the early train gets to Waverley a little too early, for the past couple of weeks I've been getting a coffee before catching the bus to Leith.
Every morning, the girl serving has pointed out that, "we're just open, we only have takeaway cups: is that OK?"
Every time.
I knew I'd become a regular the other morning when she started to say it, then stopped herself.
How easily we fall into habits.
