Thursday 27 May 2010: Cowslip
It was such a nice sunny day today I wanted to do a bright yellow flower shot in contrast to yesterday's drippy wet one. However inspite of it beeing a sunny day, by tea-time there was a howling gale blowing through my garden. The lovely golden berberis would not stand still and the silly photographer didn't try to use shutter priority to compensate!
In a sheltered corner sat the shy little cowslip.
So, back in the house, packing was done, lists were ticked, shopping was put into our big, metre long coolbox. Finally, I feel relaxed about having everything ready for our first show of the year. Our marquee will be home to us for the weekend.
Let's hope the weather is better than forecasted. Have a great Bank Holiday weekend!
