Friday 28 May 2010: Today's Weather
No snow as threatened, but the wind chill made up for it. I didn't go outside to take photos today. Sorry about the flecks of rain on the window.
This morning the temperature in my livingroom went below 10 degrees C, which was the signal to get the electric heater out of storage. I don't light the fire until afternoon.
After her evening meal the cat had heaps of energy and nothing to do with it. She howled dolefully for a couple of minutes and then went out. I saw her from windows dashing from shelter to shelter, doing her rounds, sniffing the marker points. Less than ten minutes and she was back inside, curled up in front of the fire.
Those are my cabbage trees, by the way.
