Wednesday 26 May 2010: The birthday girl
In a mean moment this morning I thought to myself, "since I did all the work, why is SHE getting all the presents", but the moment passed. I'm allowed to have the odd mean thought to myself.
We had fun this afternoon. A cinema visit with some friends to see 'Street Dance' which was full of fabulous dancing and loads of raw energy, along with a dodgy story line and some patchy acting. Kids and I enjoyed it. It was funny watching them do their 'moves' as they danced through the car park after the show.
Then a BBQ with all the families. Rain held off until I sat down to eat. So I ignored it and got on with some serious sausage eating.
