Yes! at last...

Yesterday Sjoukje (islanderwoman) called that she would go to the long-eared owls she spotted before.
But: this morning we only could see a glimpse of a young one...
So we went home for lunch, a very little bit disappointed....
But: a few hours later she called again!
She was at the other spot where we saw nothing this morning but now they were very present!
So we rushed in the car back to where she was waiting for us.
Jacob (a bird watcher) was there again too.
And yes, we saw the old one, sitting and watching us.
Also a young one was there and was watching us.
We shot plenty pictures with different gear and could hardly get enough of it all...
Suddenly we heard the caracteristic sound they make and Jacob spotted two more owlets, in a tree, not far from the others.
It was almost impossible to get them properly focussed...
