Sunday 30 May 2010: A day on the lake

Today hubby and I went to Tahkenitch Lake north of Reedsport to do some kayaking. It was warm and beautiful. We spent a few hours exploring the lake. There are several house boats around the lake that are vacation rentals.

Later, we went to a BBQ for a friend that was visiting from Alaska. It was fun to see her, meet her hubby and see some old friends.

Tomorrow we are planning another kayaking trip to the Silkcoos River Canoe Trail with some other friends.
