Mark Knopfler - Royal Albert Hall

Many months ago we booked a trip to see Mark Knopfler at RAH. Little did we know then that rail track engineering works would majorly disrupt our plans and a hastily found premier inn was booked for an overnight stay.

We made the most of an overnight stay, dinner and wine in Leicester Square, followed by a stroll through Hyde Park before the music from Mark Knopfler (not ideally my music, but hubby is a true fan). Have to say music was awesome and Mark performed brilliantly, despite a trapped nerve in his back. My only fear was that we were right up as high as you can get in the RAH and I don't like heights, but managed suitably well.
