Monday 31 May 2010: Boredbecue
Poor Bella spent most of the day waiting for her (much older) friend from across the road to come home from school and play with her, only to discover at the last minute she'd decided to go to her other friend's house for tea.
I tried my best to distract her with baby new potatoes and other barbecue preparations, but it did little to retract the bottom lip.
"Daddy, I'm very bored today."
Her friend did eventually get home about half an hour before bed. Just enough time to whip Bella up into a frenzy and send her to sleep happy.
