Long Slow Distance

Old and new

On my regular run I pass by the new windmill that's being constructed on the ridge between Lewes and Kingston (I've blipped it a few times before), and this old agricultural trailer which has been slowly succumbing to the effects of its exposure to the weather.

The windmill has yet to receive its six sails, while the trailer sits by the side of the fence and is consumed by nettles. I love the fact that it's been left there to let nature absorb it, although I'm sure someone will drag it away one day.
