horns of wilmington's cow

Misty Table

We opted for a fairly leisurely wander up to Skye after a morning trip to the farmers market, and a spin to the Borders to drop off the cat at the cattery. Five and a half hours or so to the Kyle, with another hour or so till we reached the cottage we're renting in Husabost meant for an equally leisurely first evening.

This view is out the front door (and living room window and bedroom window) of one of Macleod's Tables (two hills with distinctive flat tops). I used this rather than the general view because what you can't actually see behind the bank of cloud in the distance, beyond Loch Dunvegan, are the Cuillins. But when that clears the view is going to be utterly phenomenal. I just love coming back here.
