Monday 7 June 2010: 300 Blips.
Nz Paua shell in the background. Beautiful colours, hard to show in the photo, but iconic in Kiwi souvenir products. Not something I would buy, but often see at our beach after divers have been collecting. The meat inside is like a black piece of solid muscle which can taste a lot like black shoe leather if you dont cook and prepare it correctly. Local folk bash it mightily with big mallets to break down the fibres, and then bbq. wierd food product.
