Tuesday 8 June 2010: Apple lunch
I love mandarins at this time of the year......and I love bananas at any time of the year......and New Zealand Braeburn apples are delicious anytime too.
Breakfast was mandarin and banana so it was only fair that the Braeburn was my lunch.
I liked the shadowy mid-winter light that fell across the apple as I was cutting it up. Mid winter huh? We've hardly had any frosts at all and it's just 2 weeks until the winter solstice. Seems kind of weird - although judging by the plummeting temperature this evening I think we're in for a dose of real winter starting right now!
One year ago - still makes my head spin!
