Capstan Strength

This capstan was made in Kirkcaldy in 1917 and has a maximum load of 10 tons. Interesting! Port Edgar used to be a Destroyer Base of course, that's how there are all the wonderful dilapidated huts and sheds about the place. All these interesting facts probably don't really distract from the fact that this is a rather dull blip.
We went out with spinnakers today! And in the afternoon we practised gybing with said spinnaker. Given that it was pretty blowy down on the Forth, this promised to be quite exhilarating. And it was until we ended up in the drook, twice. I blame Hamish - he was on the helm each time we cowped. Bliddy auld fool.
