Thursday 10 June 2010: HOME THOUGHTS FROM A 'BROAD'

When I got home from work, today, I found a postcard (reproduced above) from MsGable waiting for me. She had posted it on 4th June so it has taken its time in winging its way to me.

I had a strange start to the day as I was just about to leave the house, for work, when I realized that I hadn't brushed my hair or cleaned my teeth. Once that had been done I exited the house, locked the door and then thought that something was strange....it was as I had the wrong glasees on. Back into the house and having donned the correct glasses I left the house again. I had just got to the car when I remembered that I hadn't put any extra money in my purse so that I could contribute to a collection for a wedding present for one of the team at work. Back into the house I went and found some money.

Upon leaving my driveway I noticed that the exterior of my house had acquired a brown compost recycling bin - I don't normally have one (as I've said before I don't do gardening) - so finding the owner would be a job to add to my list once I had finished work.

I then set off to work and was driving along quite merrily when some a******** of a lorry driver cut right in front of me. I was too shocked to do anything other than sit and shake my head in disbelief.

Thankfully, once I got to work the day got better and then when I got home I was able to find the owner of the brown bin (a nonegenarian who had already 'phoned the council to complain that someone had absconded with his bin).
