Friday 11 June 2010: The Plunge

Final day of the course and Cap'n Bligh and maself decided single handed sailing was the order of the day. And what a blast it was. To finish the week on a high we did some dry capsizes in the harbour where you nimbly climb up onto the side of the boat as it goes over. And then yours truly volunteered to do a total inversion. I tell yer, it's scary how difficult it is to haul yourself up onto a boat from the water with no assistance.
This called for a trip to toun where I met Mr HB, along with piglets, for a beer in Berts. After one game I'm top of the our world cup sweep. Mexico - SA : one all - ya beauty!
