Back to work

And while we are preparing for a course in steamturbines I took the opportunity to pop out to unit EC 20 which is going a overhaul.
This is a relatively small overhaul which takes two weeks.

This seems a bit chaotic; a look from the top of the High Pressure steamturbine down to the servo which operates one of the four stopvalves.
This one shuts off the steamadmittance to the turbine in case of an emergency, i.e. a trip caused by a failure in the boilersystem.

The servo has to be taken out to check and replace seals and gaskets.
The yellow pipes on top of the picture belong to a system that is meant for supplying regulating oil to stop-and regulating valves.

Also nice in LARGE.
