Monday 14 June 2010: Ship at sunset
Today seemed like a long day after returning from a trip and starting back at work. I didn't have a chance to look for a photo until after dinner. With the sun setting so much later, it's nice to be able to squeeze in some time to look for something to photograph.
My hubby and I were out in Charleston when I saw this ship cross the bar into the bay. The sunset was so bright that the shots right there weren't all that great. We decided to drive to a better location to shoot it with the sunset behind it. This was taken at a public dock area some us local blippers often go to. Even though the sun was setting fast, I liked the way the pilings were in the forefront of the frame as it went by. I saw several people photographing it as it went by.
Looks best in large.
Thanks for stopping by.
