Wednesday 16 June 2010: Yussuf

Besides newbuilding the Turkter yard is also engaged in shiprepair and maintenance. Two tugboats are high and dry in order to paint the complete hull.

Here Yussuf is busy, with High Pressure 280 bars, cleaning the hull before a new layer of orange paint will be applied.

For tomorrow will plan to take a photo of gridblasting. By the time we will leave the yard my camera will look 10 years older. It's now already covered with white stips. Have been just too close near a painter.
